Ditto. To my knowledge, they have always done this for speed. It is just more apparent because of all the resolution you have at your disposal. With the samsung that is rumored to be even higher in resolution, it seems to pose more of an issue?
I think there are a few ways to skin the cat but dealing with safari on iOS is the biggest limiting factor. For now, I'm going to keep my stuff looking right on regular screens and let my proofing/storefront do its own scaling.
This whole Mega-Resolution thing is just getting started!
Waiting for the hi-rez screen Samsung with Android. It is open and has usb connectivity for extra drive, flash drive, and the ability to shoot tethered via dslrcontrol app.
I guess it shouldn't take too long since Apple sources the screen in the new iPad from Samsung (LG is also reported to be a supplier).
