There are so many variables so for one person the difference might be minor, for another major. Besides the lens, there is the sensor tech (AA, no AA, weak AA), software and on and on. Since it takes a quadrupling of MP to even double the actual resolution (with same sensor tech), going from 16MP to 24MP is not going to gain too much actual resolution. But in practice it could due to the other variables.

I didn't mean to imply here isn't a difference. Just that it may not be a huge difference. The difference to me in resolution between my A900 and 5N is subtle, but there. However, I only routinely print to 13x19.
