The 5DII current price ain't as cheap as it used to be.. and the 5Dc is a very capable camera. I find myself not using the video at all on the 5DII, and if I could, I'd probably buy a used 5Dc on FM (saw one go for ~$800).
I too think you should save your money and buy the 5D, and then put the rest of the money towards a 5D3 fund if it ever gets released (I'm being cautiously realistic here).
The 5D (classic) has excellent image quality (IQ). I enjoyed IQ but not all the dust bunnies.
But here in dusty New Mexico I would not recommend any camera without sensor dust cleaning.
