I have made a lot of visits to that place without getting light like this sunset. You seem to be leading a charmed life for light in your touring endeavors up here so far. I am starting to think I should follow you around

Yeah Alan I guess I've had had great luck here so far. I've heard its been one of the weirdest winters ever here? I've been to the beach about 10 times and it was only foggy and raining once? A little San Diego luck maybe? I'll take it

Brian, we also just tend to look at the weather and not drive to the beach when there is 0 chance of anything worth wild

And as I said on gplus, this image is superb. Love the colors and the comp and the foreground details.
