What do you mean by Bollywood poses? Don't they all dance around anyways? Will the session be filled with music and 50 dancers?

I mean copying the poses on various movie posters - like the one just posted. I've responded back to the guy telling him I wasn't comfortable with what he was asking me to do. We'll see what he says.

Would this even be copyright infringement?

Seems to fall under fair use/ satire to me. (as long as it is a recreation and you do not use too much from the original)

Honestly, I don't really care whether or not I could be legally prosecuted or not. That's not really the point and it's not something I'm seriously concerned about.

The point is to me it's unethical and it's just not something I want to be doing.

Good job man for standing up in what you believe in! If they truly love your pictures, they will come back to you.

The closest I came to a bollywood moment was when my bride asked me for something like this.

Sounds like you are making your decision for all the right reasons.

the couple are indians and they're dancing? And the dress is so incrdibly out of gamut in it's colorful awesomeness that the camera can't handle it so it looks black to us.
