Thanks. This is the first time I have been to Colorado, and only the 2nd event I've shot with the 1D (mark I) after I sold my 10D.
Great pictures.I drove from Cali to watch the race.I was at devils playground too.Did you see the snow bank.Snow sucks on race day.O well had ablast will be back next year to race it.

Yeah, the weather sucked. I really wished they would have continued racing, I would have had some awesome shots if they started racing through the fog and snow!

that is one cool series of shots..... what gear were you using.... all of them are pin sharp...... excellent work....
I was using a Canon 1D, with a 20mm prime and 50mm prime for the close shots, and a 100-300mm for the far shots.

Interesting that over Sharpening is becoming acceptable in Web photography ... a style of it's own ... that works ... but _might_ not look great in prints ? Most Pros would use the Unsharp Mask instead of the Sharpen Filter. Multiple applications of low Unsharp Mask is usually preferable to heavy use of Sharpen or Sharpen More ...

You are correct, kind of. These photos have gone through a 3-pass unsharp mask process, not the sharpen filter.
