Bare 42" PLM mounted on Alienbee B800 front center above camera at 1/16 power. 20" softbox on floor below camera at 1/64 power for filling the shadows. Hair light softboxes with 285hv @ 1/2 power left and right of subject for rim light. Shot with Canon XSi and Tamron 17-50mm f/2.8 at 17mm, F9, 1/200, ISO 100.
This is really excellent but I would be tempted to use an 8x10 crop and move him to the left in the frame. The extra-dark left side tends to pull my eye off the subject in the centered composition.
