For those of you who haven't had to send anything back to Ceather Lraftsmen, do you have a specific person you always work with over there? They were the ones to give us an album with the wrong name on it, an album where the entire page set was mounted to the cover cooked, and now one that looks like it was dropped on the corner spine. (in addition to other more minor mistakes)

This was the main reason we switched three years ago from using a very famous Italian based press-book company, to a more expensive (but higher quality,) UK based company, SIM2000.
Since switching we have placed over 50+ orders and only had to return about 3 books for small imperfections, all of which were collected from our studio, remade and returned to us within 7 working days.
Excellent service and the highest quality press books we have ever seen!
Regards,
Nic

Just curious. About what percentage of your albums would you say you have to send back to the album company because they're either printed so incredibly off center you'd think a kindergartner did the measurements, or have pages so warped you can't close the album, or are just straight up damaged? Or even funnier, have the name of a completely different couple on them? I get that mistakes happen, but I'm at about 40% of albums need to be returned to two completely different companies. Another 30% still have stuff wrong, but it's minor enough I let it go. In the past month, I've had both companies remake the albums twice, and the remakes came in worse. Anyone else have these difficulties? ...Show more →
I'm sorry you are having trouble with LC. I have spoken with Howard, the President of LC and your sales rep Gregory. One or both will get in touch with you. We want you to be completely satisfied and will do what it takes to make that happen. Please let me know if there is anything that I can help you with.
I'm not going to mention the name on here, but you can probably guess who it is. This company started off supplying us with lovely books, but then as they pushed into the US market they lost sight of a few things along the way...the main one for us was that their quality control suffered hugely, so we voted with our feet and are glad we did.
You won't find a better press-printed storybook album than from SIM2000 Imaging.

I have never had any problem with Finao so far. Beautiful work.
I do have problems with another album company from time to time. But their turn-around time and customer service are fantastic, so that I still use them.
