Look... we've had a number of people [or one person doing it numerous times] posting fraudulently lately, and a number of us [myself included] have been taken advantage of. In response, some of us are simply asking sellers with no feedback to show that the equipment they're posting is legit. No harm, no foul. Just a simple way to try and ensure that no other members of the FM community get taken for a ride.
If asking someone with no feedback to do something mildly inconvenient in order to allow potential buyers to have a little more trust in the person they're dealing with - and to scare off the fraudsters - equates to cruel or negative posts, then I suppose I'm guilty. But I don't think that's the case.
