I went to H&H's seminar last summer and plan on going back again this summer. While there were a lot of topics covered that I felt I already had a firm grasp on, the topics regarding business, marketing, etc. I really enjoyed. Plus it's always nice to get together with shooters from across the country for a couple of days.

Hmmm, anybody done the SSA? Free "tuition" for college students if accepted.
I attended the last SSA and can't say enough good things about it, was planning on going back in April but looks like I'm going to be working a lot that month. I've left some thoughts about it on my blog, click here for that.
Oh yeah, Dave Black is there this year, plus Nikon confirmed that the D4 will be there as well. Woops, one more thing, I may have just hit on the right time or something last year, but it was absurdly cheap to fly out from Knoxville to CA last year.

I am interested in attending a workshop concentrating on sports…baseball in particular. I am in the Raleigh NC area and would like to find something close. Any suggestions?

i think some of the local universities sometimes sell a day of shooting sports type package, how much of the stuff on your list they cover I'm not sure
my local camera shop up in NJ, only a 9 hr drive for you , has some sort of half day sports shooting class coupled with a shoot the Nets night
probably both a bit more specific than your general list though
I am looking for a senior member of Sportsshooter.com to sponsor me. I will be more than happy to send you a link to my website. I have been shooting sports & action for about nine years now and would like to join sportsshooter.com
I know it's not close, but SportsShooter Academy will be the best money you ever spend. I've done it twice and each time I walk away with more skills, ideas, contacts, etc. Where else can you shoot alongside the best in the business, ask questions, get expert critiques daily and make valuable friends and contacts? Top notch and not a single complaint or negative comment.
if and "if" i was a mod... as i am not.
this is a thread highjack.
start your own post and post your own
images to be involved w/ an attempt to
be accepted at SS.
I am still workin' on that.

Requesting SS sponsorship is against forum policies whether posted in someone else's thread or one's own.
Dont know if your interested at all, but Kelby Training is starting to get a couple of action/sports photo courses. Dave Black has a course as well as a few other guys. I get more out of a workshop type learning environment, but if you do well with online stuff, its just another option.
