Really like the detail and composition of the Heron...have you tried to clone out the dead stick just in front of the bird. Either way, very nice photos. ZZ

I agree about cloning out the one twig. And I really like the animated pose of the heron.

Roberta, the duck is interesting, but the heron is smashingly good. The composition and environment rule........as if it was done in a studio.

Nice low view on the shoveler but it's the heron that takes the prize. A really wonderful shot that has so much going or it...subject, composition, background, perch, color....well done!
