Communicating in a language in which you are not fluent can often lead to some interesting/amusing errors. I once had a Taiwanese company end a letter with the salutation,
"Wishing you every day like a Merry Christmas Eve."
I also remember when I started work in Switzerland some years ago. I was at the photocopier when a company Director walked into the room and I thought it polite to let him go first. What I meant to say was, "Gehen Sie vor" but what came out was "Gehen Sie fort."

If he's 14, he ought to be living with his parents. Perhaps not in their basement, though; that's usually reserved for storage and living space for adult children.
A lot of people seem to be happy with old AF with better sensor and minor other upgrades.
In my opinion, the release of the 5D Mk II has to have significant improvements. I mean marginal improvements with some added features may not cut it. If you recall 3-4 years ago when 5D Mk II was announced, even though it has the same AF, it was considered a revolution at the time. That's why it's still in market and a Canon's cashing cow until today.
The old AF may be fine 3-4 years ago. It's still okay with some photographers today. But it won't be from today until the next 3 years for many many photographers. Don't forget that this is a 3-year cycle product.
I'm not just talking about AF. I feel that, although the features have to be different from 1DX, the new camera has to be a new Canon revolution to stay competitive with its competitors, not just today, but for the next 3 years.
Can't wait till next month!
P.S. That said, I kinda believe that there will be some features that you couldn't find in any other DSLRs.

If those specs were actually true (especially the 61pt AF) then I guess my brand new 5DmkII and 1.5 yr old 7D would have to be prematurely replaced by two of these. However, I doubt it.
IF that rumor is true, I've got a feeling it may close the price point gap between the current 5DII and the 1DX. Then again, if Nikon did it with the D700, well, Canon can probably do it with the 5DII replacement. We'll see...

with a spec like that it is going to compete directly against the 1Dx and price no less than $3999.
