Well I was about to think the Owls was just not going to come down this year, cause of all the warm unseasonably weather we all been having, I went out the other day and there they were all over, not as many as in the past but the numbers are increasing with the cooler temps rolling in!
I am posting a few here from Monday evening, had a great night they was flying in fairly close for us I'm thinking there was around 18ish still low number but man when they fly in so close like that and do a few passes to check us out, it's game on for us... So much fun, thanks for looking hope you enjoy looking! c&c always welcome, Caleb
Nice set, and congrats on your first SEOs!! 5 is so cool how you caught him in the dive, and I like 8 a lot too, but 10 is the show stealer - that's a killer shot!!
Lucky us, that you got your SEO's back, Great set!!
Like them all but 2, 3, 5 and the last are Standouts.. It would really help to comment if you would put numbers on your shots
Thanks
Lar
Thank you everyone for looking , hopefully this weekend I will be able to
Shoot some more weather permitting that is and I'm hoping we have some
Sunshine also!
Thanks again for the feedback you guys are always very kind. Caleb
Really great work ... I'm up in northern Il and did not see them come through but would hear them at night.
Your photos really illustrate well the fact that owls can't turn their eyes ... they have to turn their head instead. That's why nature made them so they can turn their heads something like 280 degrees.
