Come on, it's the 1st general beta release. Plugins like the smug mug will come at a later point.

Beta software is a tested it's not the finished article.

Except...they indicated that they aren't going to release one and will leave it up to Smugmug to do one... So even in the final version it doesn't look likely unless smugmug comes up with an option. Either way, those of us with websites and workflow using the current plugin seem out of luck at the moment.

Why would a third-party plugin cause you to lose work?

Here's one that works in LR4 just as brilliantly as in LR3.

Processed some images I took today and the results are much better (or quicker to achieve) than using LR3. The highlight retention really is amazing

Agreed. The white slider works miracles and a -100 value yields very usable results without dramatic hue shifts. I really enjoy what they did!
