Thanks for bringing more information about wall colors and about strobes. Very interesting the graphical interface for PC of Elinchrom... unfortunatelly this brand sells at higher cost over here...
Browsing on our local online shops I found an interesting brand that offers studio lights at a very decent cost and with quite good technical specifications. I have no idea if is a good brand or not: JTL Versalight... They offers strobes of 300Ws, 500Ws and 1000Ws... and these strobes could be set through a remote control or through a PC software application... Not bad at all... but I need to find more about the reliability of these products... Some how it would be an advantage to buy something from my country in order to have warranty and service locally... My major concern for importing Einsteins is related to this aspect: warranty and service.
I also found another company selling Quantuum strobes (is not the famous Quantum but Quantuum... ) so I wonder if this is a good brand too...
1. The 9' ceiling height will be somewhat limiting for the wider group shots you are anticipating. When purchasing modifiers keep in mind for natural looking modeling the light needs to at a downward angle of about 45° and as you move lights further back for wider shots big modifiers will hit the ceiling and wind up too low for standing subjects. But there are workarounds I've used such as seating family groups on cushions on the floor or bouncing lights off walls and ceiling vs. aiming directly.
My studio has less than 9' ceilings and that's never been remotely a problem doing groups. Yes, higher ceilings would be nice, but it's hardly a limiting height at all. Width for groups is much more important.

One might be able to shoot in a space with a nine foot ceiling (I have, frequently.), but whether shooting one person or one hundred, it's definitely limiting.

Elinchrom also has a very nice graphical interface for PCs, with a USB transmitter. Drag-and-drop light placement in the "Studio" module, with sliders and buttons for each light in the Control Panel module.

Brian my wife is gonna get angry with you!
Would it help if I also post a link to a site that sells fur coats or Prada shoes?

One more question: How helpful is to have a dedicated (good) ring flash? Is not enough a beauty dish?
A ring flash is a more specialized tool than a beauty dish. When used as the main light it has a very distinctive look that some people like and some don't; when used as a fill source it can create very nice, even fill that doesn't cast its own shadow.
I wouldn't rush out to get one straight away. It's something that can probably wait until you are sure you want it. (That time may never come.)
