Thanks to all who have contributed. It looks like the Epson is the runaway favorite. Looking into it even further, I am now leaning towards the Epson 7890 because it was suggested here and I do not think the O and G inks will be that significant to me. I was also told that the 7900 was more geared to the proofing industry.
Correct me if I am wrong, but because of Canon's curved pathway, I do not think you can print on metal ( aluminum ) with it, but you can with the Epson. I have seen many prints on aluminum lately and I think I may want to try it at some point.
Lastly, I will need to locate this unit in another room, relative to my computer. I think I will have to go with the Airport Extreme Base unit. Are there any problems I may need to know about for printing wirelessly with these printers?
