In the cartoon Finding Nemo, The clownfish hate it when others expect them to be funny because they are called "clownfish". Hence the title.
This is shot at 1:1. It might not look like much, but to me this probably ranks among the hardest things that I've shot. The deadly combination of constantly moving subject, manual focus and paper thin DOF means all you have to nail the focus and framing are a lot of patience and luck.
Thanks again. I guess my initial gut feel was right. Sometimes I stare at a photo for too long and it messed with my mind. The same thing happens when I buy perfume, I always ended up with one that I don't like because I compared too much, but I digress.
I like the first one better too. I wouldn't have thought of a fish for the macro, but it's a great idea and this fellow made an excellent model. Good job.
It's not much of an idea for me to decide to do this, if not actually a little recycled . It is my third fish macro entries here, although it's been a while since. I used to shoot quite a bit on marine lives like fishes, corals and shrimps. Btw here are my past two entries about two year ago:
