Yep.

Canon 70-200 2.8IS Mk2 is by far, one of the best lenses Canon makes.

Thanks for all the advice. I may now be leaning towards the Cannon...Maybe Santa will drop a few $$ tomorrow before he retires until next year...
I'm really looking for that quality, sharp image.

One last question..If the 1.4x TC fits my camera and I do get the Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS II USM, wouldn't I lose one stop?

Quoting specs for Canon EF 1.4x II Extender:

"The extender will cut back the amount of light by one f/stop. For example using a 1.4x teleconverter with a 300mm f/2.8 lens will effectively increase the focal length to approximately 420mm and the f/2.8 aperture will now be f/4."

Get the Canon!!! My next purchase will be the Canon 70-200!!!

That is something you should know even before buying expensive lenses.
