Yes 24-105 is wide enough...you can always turn it vertical and shoot a panoramic sequence, and use stitching software to get the extra wide angle look (minus the distortion).

I like to have a lens wider than 24 when shooting at Angkor Wat or other temples.

In addition to your lenses I would be sure to take a flash as well. I would also rent a 100-400mm f5.6 and leave the 70-200 at home.
For clothes all you need is a couple pairs of pants, two long sleeved shirts and one t-shirt, and socks, all synthetic - stay away from cotton at all costs, and a waterproof lightweight parka. In effect you are wearing one set of clothes and packing the other set in your backpack.

I have the large f/64 backpack, I've used it for years with everything from an 8x10 camera system to a 5D. I also have the two lenses you mention and I used to have a 5DII. I don't know that the f/64 large pack would be the best choice - I'm not a backpack expert - but I think it would work for what you want to do if you will be able to do some laundry along the way and/or buy a few articles of clothing that you don't mind discarding.
I spent some time in Bangkok some years back. I think your choice of lenses is good. If I were to suggest changing anything it wouldn't be to get something longer, it would be to get something shorter than 24mm. But I don't think it's a necessity, I think you can get by with 24mm.

I've been to SE Asia several times, the most recent being Sept of 2011. Every trip I take the 24-70, and either a 70-200 f/4 or a 135/2 with a 1.4x as needed. Easily 70% of my images are with the 24-70 and if I was ever told I could only take one lens that would be it. With more of a sports background, I still love using the short-tele for tight shots. It has allowed me to get some shots that I could not otherwise. There have also been times I also carried the 17-40, 15mm fish and others but these were used very little in comparison.
I'll also echo using just a decent made backpack for the gear. I know it was mentioned above just tossing thigns in loose, but I generally don't do that with the exception of the combo I'm using. Other lenses and gear will be in thin cloth pouches like the LP bags that come with most Canon lenses. Everything will have a protective filter as well.
Enjoy the trip! It is an amazing place to visit. With 2 weeks you will likely just start to feel comfortable and in-the-groove. You won't be ready to leave.
