Robert,
Without your knowing it, your wife/gf has been on the shopping spree there
Lol, she has her own account. Maybe if I check her gold box (tht sounds so perverse) ill find some good buys.
We maintain separate finances...it will make it easier for when she throws me out.
I've had no luck with my gold box offers either, all kinds of crap I'd never buy, and I've been buying camera stuff on Amazon for the past year and half...
now I could be really wrong about this, but it seems to me that the gold box offers are somehow linked to crap in my gmail.
I say this because from time to time I keep emails from sellers in the inbox until I receive the bought item, in case I need quick reference to the purchase......not long after I order something and receive a conformation email (with item listed), same item shows up in the gold box.
I guess it could be that I used search terms to find the item in question before I bought it, and that's where the gold box learns of my interest.
had a email back-and-forth with a friend a few weeks ago about a hotel I was un-recommending, now I see ads for that hotel chain every single day. that's a bad example because it doesn't refer to amazon or gold box offers, but in my head I link the two.
so send a gmail to santa about the item you want in very clear terms, see if amazon picks it up.

This is actually kind of creepy, I have noticed lots of things like this recently. Lets all face it all the big companies are selling our information to 3rd party vendors and affiliates. It ought to be illegal to peer into our private life the way they do.
Hmmmm. I'm pretty sure I have not ordered anything to do with mojitos from amazon. My prize for the day "MIU France 10-Inch Stainless Steel Mojito Muddler,..."
i've been browsing video games on bestbuy.com ...oh look..amazon put video games in my goldbox. same goes for facebook..it shows you advertising for stuff you've been browsing on the web.
btw the advertising on FredMiranda also uses the same logic.

I don't think it's based on cookies because I have never searched for a video game once online and I have Just Dance 3, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, and Super Mario 3D Land in my gold box....
