- Canon will release a mirrorless body in 2012
- Canon believes image quality should take precedence over miniaturization
- Canon's vision is miniaturization of the entire EOS line

You may have come across a Nikon 1 V1 review that compares Nikon 1V1 camera with other similar products. Almost all such reviews unanimously conclude that this camera is far superior to all the other competitive products.

It might pay a lot of people on here to think about a cheap film body and use film.......do the maths...if someone is dabbling in say street photography...then a couple of 36 exposure films will do one outing or maybe more...and will give feedback as to whether it worked or not visualiy. if no talent for it..then not much lost.

I'd love to replace my NEX with a Canon version w/ APS-C sensor. I'd park my crappy little EF non-L prime lenses on it and maybe even buy the new 24 IS for it (as the peanut gallery gasps in horror).

I hope they come out with MILC/EVIL/whatever type camera.
Considering I received a survey from Canon asking what would be important in such a camera, it has to be on the drawing board.
I'm just a rank amateur noob at this photography thing, but a small bodied cam with a decent sized(4/3 or APS-C) sized sensor with a fast pancake prime, that also accepts EF lenses would be great!
