A "Manual Gracia" responded to my WTB post as well with a price too good to be true. I do not ignore low ball offers of my FS thread but I ignore with his email. If one falls for his too-good-to-be-true price, then it is that person's own fault.... well, kind of .

Well in my case, he asked for 300$, which is pretty much the value or just slightly below
it's value. These guys also know how NOT to raise too much suspicion.
Same thing happens to me.
This guy "mangra" contacted me for my WTB post of the Nikon 28Ti and use the exactly words in his email, he said he is from Spain, has to pay his daughter's hospital bill etc.
But after he sent me the pictures of the camera, I found right away it was some pictures on eBay under someone in the US.
This is a serious problem. I just had a similar interaction via paypal with an account. Fred banned the account and I got my money back, but again, established account with feedback and pictures, the works.
I also received an e-mail from [email protected] two days ago. He saw my WTB post about Paul Buff Cybersyncs and said he had some for sale. I asked what his name was on FM and didn't get a reply. Thanks for notifying us.
I received an email from mangra with regards to a WTB softbox ad I placed--I just bluntly asked him for his price and size--never heard back from him again.
I don't know if anyone has reported his gmail account, but I sure did. Way too suspicious a character since I'm not the only one he's been contacting.
If enough people complain Google may shut down the account.

No problem.I feel that we all look out for each on this forum.A little while a go I nearly got defrauded
by a bad fm'er and thanks to the help of some members, got my lens,an fm'er went to the guy,
picked it up and shipped it to me.We are a community.
I got mangra-ed too. Sent email 3 days ago about a WTB thread I posted. I asked for more information about his FM identity but he never replied. I quickly edited my WTB and requested PM contact only. Is there a way to restrict email communication as there is on vBullentin boards?
