There was no need for a big fight, the Nikon dude is as good as dead. The "Canon dude" is actually a Chinese secret agent! He used his modified monopod to inject a tiny pellet of poison into the Nikon Dude's chest.
In my country such conflict is the only language to speak with many kinds of people, especially security ones, so I see nothing hilarious here. I've lost the count of every situation like this, some people just too dumb enough to solve any issue in civilized way. You have to be prepared to defend yourself every day in any place you go. It's really scary to lose all your equipment in battle and I'm not the most feeble man here (188 cm tall, weight is almost 90 kg).
