The weather this year has been unusual all over the country. It seems to be getting more and more severe. In this week's Chicago storm 93mph winds were reported along with a waterspout!

This was shot across Lake Michigan as the storm passed Chicago. Seeing a storm over open water is really impressive. We were on vacation.

There certainly was some powerful thunder to go along with the lightening show. It was a bit scary at times.

It was quite spectacular. I think I might have seen the waterspout too, but it was obscured by a lot of clouds.

I included the EXIF. I had to copy and paste cause the info was removed when I pasted the pic onto the text background. Thank you.

My bad, I went straight to the bottom of the photo looking for exif - thought the shot sort of described itself, just the same, great work and a great photojournalistic shot to boot!!
