I know the area...my folks have a vacation place there and I love taking the back way off the 14 through Rosamond...those wind mills make you feel so small!

Yes, there aren't many of those around anymore. I think these are from the 90's or maybe even mid 80's. They are much more photogenic than the current breed they are now installing.
