Sorry I left a couple of things out. Most any G?L policy will have built in coverage for data loss and some coverage for loss of income due to loss of equipment. Rented equipment will usually be just another additional rider, though this one is often expensive.
PERSONAL ARTICLES POLICY ....... you don't need to have house, car etc with them .. this is a separate policy ...... i.m a hobbyist .. my bill due tomorrow is $163.75 for like 14,000 ...... I only have stub handy so don't know particulars right now .... for a professional shooter it goes up ........ it's like 12 cents to 25 cents ( sliding scale for how PRO you are per 100.00
I have a hard time with gravity .. in past 3 years I've paid less than 500 in premiums not counting this one ........... no questions asked had a d300 replaced ( 1679 )- a 600mm repaired (550 ) and recently a d700 got a new sensor (1800 )........ i have an inflation clause so it's face value as of the day i make a claim ....... neither of us can afford to drop each other
The OP was asking about a biz policy with general liability. If you are shooting for profit, a policy like this will likely let you down pretty quickly. It may serve your purpose quite well.
