that is correct only v9 and up supports the newest bodies. kinda feels just like Adobe now doesn't it?
oh, i use DXO 9(.5.2) all the time as my primary tool.
Here is the list of supported bodies for this version. D600, D800/E, D4 are all on the list. The most recent bodies, as enumerated by johnctharp above, require version 9.
I tried the download for my D7000 NEF files. I don't get this part; " Transfer your RAW images from Lightroom in one click and process them in DxO OpticsPro. Then using the Export to Lightroom feature, send them directly back into the application". WTF? I don't get it.
With my D7000 NEF files, they do not go into Lightroom 2.7. I have to use the Adobe DNG converter. Then I import them to LR to work on them and then export to JPG.
With DXO, I uploaded the RAW directly to DXO where they sort of worked on themselves. Then, I exported them to LR as JPG. Then LR exported the JPG's. (I think that is what I did).

The whole thing is BS. I tried 2 different downloads under 2 emails. Both vaidation codes are invalid.
I call BS on DXO.
Well, it took 2 downloads and several tries, but it finally took the code. The first downlooad had a 60 day trial and the second a 30 day trial. Plus, the screens for S/N were different.
I see DxO Labs have just announced version 10, so this free version is now 2 generations old. However, if you own a supported body, and don't crave the latest and greatest, this looks like a winner. Plus, it's hard to argue with the price
