p.1 #1 · Software to spot measure with colormunki photo?
That should be easy, but can't find it...All I wanted is to spot measure with colormunki photo...read a grayscale strip of patches and know the values for each one...i1Studio will not make it...it shouldn't be so difficult...on a Mac here...
p.1 #2 · Software to spot measure with colormunki photo?
I've got an old colormunki photo but I've never used it for measuring spot color.
I was curious so after some googling, it seems that earlier versions the xrite Colormunki photo software had a menu to do spot measurements using a program called "Color Picker". It's in addition to monitor calibration and paper profiling.
Using the latest software version from xrite Colormunki software didn't show the ColorPicker menu as mentioned in old reviews. So I searched for a random early number software version, 1.1.1 and downloaded that. It had the ColorPicker menu and runs it. After some trial and error, I am able to take spot color measurements.
One thing to watch out for is that after doing the 'calibration' step, you need to turn the dial to the measurement position but you need to avoid clicking on the half circle button. Otherwise the software gets stuck and won't allow you to select the 'spot' pull down menu. I had to exit the software and start over.
I'm on Windows but this one seems like it's for mac. https://xritephoto.com/ph_product_overview.aspx?ID=1115&Action=support&SoftwareID=924
