I downloaded the astro app as I'd been hoping for a means to test the 5D-IV 5DS-R and 6D-II on Windows 10.
I have zero previous knowledge of astro.
Is there a simple way to find the shutter count? I was drowned in information - only to be expected as the apps purpose is niche. I tried a 5D-IV first and the camera is recognised in the Log file but what from there? Yikes!
Easy, connect your camra to the computer, enter the astro app program, turn on your camera. Then on the left bottom the shutter will appear. With same zero knowledge I made it yesterday.
Cheers,
Mesut
