I have owned, and currently use, a lot of OM Zuikos for my APS-C tilt-shift setup. OM 24/2.8 gets a lot of use in my setup. I find it to be a very good strong performer. I haven't tried OM 24/2 because I've read that it has strong barrel distortion (which isn't ideal for what I'm doing). That may be irrelevant for your purposes; as Sr.Cordeiro's examples show, you can clearly make lovely pictures with OM 24/2!

The corners are really good for vintage glass standards, were better than my copy of the f/2.8 version Zuiko.

In resume it's an excellent lens capable of high-resolving power in a small package (as typical of OM Zuikos). It's one of my all-time favourites. Even if I don't use it much nowdays I can't sell it since I wouldn't gain much money and would loose such a good lens.
This post inspired me to take it for a ride today on the Fuji X-T20 and the Lens Turbo II. I'm actually curious to know how this combo will do.
It was one of my favorite lenses when I shot Canon and I used it quite a bit on Sony APSC. When I got the a7, I tried the FD 24/2, and that was it for the Oly. Stronger resolution, lower distortion, and better flare resistance sold me on the Canon.

I had both the FD f2.8 and f2 versions of the 24mm. I found them both 'plenty good enough' on my A7r. I kept the f2 version. Really nice little lens. I replaced it and the FD 20mm with a Sony 16-35mm OSS a while back but to be honest I don't like the Zeiss super modern look. Going to sell the Sony, I want a good, well built, tiny 24mm to replace it with. Just not sure what yet. Maybe I'll get the FD again.
