I just use 2 ziplock bags, one for unused cards, the other for used cards. Waterproof and works just fine.
Been doing this for years. It has several benefits;
- see through for quick visual check
- water proof
- can be labeled with a felt marker to identify shoot specificity or "EXPOSED"
- cheap and easily replaceable if you need more or is no longer water proof

Yep, for travel I have a bunch of different sized ziplock bags. Great for many different uses...even rain jackets for your camera in a pinch. All my liquids go inside ziplocks for travel.
I concur on Steve's suggestion, too. The Think Tank carriers protect the cards and keep them organized. I put the fresh cards in one way and the exposed cards in another way (your choice). I keep the different capacities in rows with the first choice fresh cards in the top rows. There is a window space for "If found, please call/email..." cards. However, you can clip the carriers to something so they're harder to lose, much harder to lose than ziplocks. I also use the ThinkTank battery carriers for the day's shooting, with the extra batteries in different colored ziplocks, according to charge status. These are in a pocket of my camera bag.
Why not? I have two differently coloured ziplock that constantly live in my camera pack which I use every time I go out with the pack. What's your issue with reusing the packs as they don't get dirty from use.
I take your comment to imply I'm lying which is totally off base here and uncalled for.
now why would you feel that i think you are lying? if i'm going to think that i would directly say it. i call a spade a spade and a joker a joker. until then stand down and don't assume.
i do believe you but then they do tend to collect things as my holder does. i just wash it out. mine also not air tight which is my preference.
using myself as a reference i guess i'm a little rougher on Ziploc bags in use and they lack the longevity you get.
I've used the same Ziploc bags for my kitchen items, so can't see why someone can't do the same in this case. Those bags are pretty durable, even the sandwich ones lol
