Pros:
Sharp at all apertures
Nice color balance with some pop
Contrast
Pleasant bokeh
Cons:
Slow focus
Narrow DOF
Sharp at all apertures. If you nail focus at f1.2, you can see that it's sharp, even at the borders. At f2 and faster, the bokeh is beautiful and pleasant with almost any background. Not distracting like some lenses. Color is well balanced and contrasty.
There is some magic with this lens. Friends looking at my photos keep telling me how great my photos are but I have to give credit to this lens.
One negative is that the focusing is slow and you really need to think ahead.
This is a really fun lens to use

Pros:
Sharper at all focal lengths and apertures vs Ver. I
More popness vs Ver. 1
Very close in IQ vs my 35mm L
Cons:
Plastic feel
Hood not as effective as Ver. I
This is a great upgrade vs Ver. I of this lens in terms of IQ, ie, sharpness, contrast, popness but it also vignettes more, hood stinks and feels more plasticy.
I feel confident using all focal lengths and at all apertures and very similar to my 35mm L at similar FL and apertures.
