Pros:
Very sharp, warm color, good contrast, easy to hold, well balanced and good mechanics. The best performance to price ratio that you can get for this zoom range.
Cons:
Expensive filter but I can not fault the 82mm size filter, it is f4.0 at 100-300mm.

I like this lens for it's sharpness when used above f4.0 from 100 to about 250mm. I have noticed that the sharpness degrades at around 300mm but I think it is still sharper than other zoom lens in this range. I tried also using this lens with a Sigma 1.4X teleconverter and I did not experience any problems on focusing and the images are still acceptable. I think this lens is the sharpest zoom lens that Sigma has made.
