Pros: works great for starting out
Cons:
none at the moment

A great starter lens. I was able to buy it from Target for $100. I haven't had issues with it and have owned for a few years now. However, i'm sure there are higher quality lenses. I use this one when I need a lower F-stop.

Pros: Has a wide range of zoom, which I need for my career.
Cons:
Prefer a lens with a lower F-Stop

This lens is great when photographing outdoor events during daylight. However, I work in the wedding industry and prefer a lens with a lower F-stop when working in a low light situation. However, it is a good product. I did buy it at a used camera store and bought it out of necessity at the time.
