Nikon 24mm f/2.8D AF Nikkor

Review Date: Jan 1, 2006 Recommend? yes | Price paid: $250.00 | Rating: 10

Pros: VEry sharp, light works with film and digital
digital is not as sharp as Film.

it's light, small and can be carried anywhere.
I used this lens mostly for my landscape on my film camera. I love the landscape pictures it takes. it also take pretty good group shots with minimal distotion, I use it for low light indoor group shots instead of tokina 12-24mm f4.

Nikon 35-70mm f/2.8D AF

Review Date: Jan 1, 2006 Recommend? yes | Price paid: $500.00 | Rating: 10

Pros: fast 2.8, Good range for 35mm SLR, Sharp with Film and Digital.
Front rotation (hassle to use circular polarizer), push pull zoom.

I've had this lens for about 10yrs now started with FM2 to F100 and now D70s. it's very sharp and fast lens, if used on film it's very good walk around lens, but for digital it's 52-105mm (35mm equivalent) and makes it kind of odd range to use. other than that it's an excellent lens.

Nikon 70-200mm f/2.8G ED-IF AF-S VR

Review Date: Dec 30, 2005 Recommend? yes | Price paid: $1,600.00 | Rating: 10

Pros: It's an excellent and very sharp. VR works very well. ultra fast focusing.
I want to carry this lens with everywhere, butit's bit too large (as any other 2.8 lens). no aperature ring.

I owned this lens for about 5 months now and I love the way it works; smooth, sharp, and fast. without a doubt it's my favorite and best lens (ofcourse price has something to with it too).
