Nikon D7000

D7000
Review Date: Dec 12, 2011 Recommend? yes | Price paid: $1,200.00 | Rating: 10

Pros: Has all the bells and whistles that are needed like commander mode, screw drive and 39 point AF as well as others. Great video quality if you need it.
Cons:
Just about none. Only thing that bothers me is the little rubber connection cover at the bottom of the grip that I accidentally open all the time.

I have had this camera for about six months and find that it is a solid system. Fast and accurate focus, easy to use in manual and automatic modes. Has many of the features of the pro cameras just dumbed down a bit so it is perfect for an non-professional like my self that wants to take great pictures.

I had the Canon 60D first and returned it as it didn't have the build quality or the features to the D7000 and is supposed to be its direct competitor.
