Nikon D800E

Review Date: Jul 23, 2012 Recommend? yes | Price paid: Not Indicated | Rating: 10

Pros: An ocean of pixels, very sharp, fast focusing, quiet mirror, very good for panoramic 360°
Cons:
no one yet

This body is reserved for my Virtual Panoramic Tour (as professional), Amazing ! The response of this body is fast. I appreciate the quiet mirror. very good color range. Obviously, you need to shoot with a Nikkor 24~70 f2.8 nano and the Nikkor 70~200 f2.8 Nano. Uncompressed and 14 bits : 74 megapixels for a NEF. By the way, not really designed for fast shooting.

A first example in pano 360° : http://www.panohotline.com/samples/pano_mini_europ/

A little bit expensive but, as usual, you pay for the quality ...

Sigma 70mm F2.8 EX DG MACRO

Review Date: Feb 10, 2012 Recommend? yes | Price paid: Not Indicated | Rating: 9

Pros: very sharp at f 2.8, good built, cheap, Limit button, relative fast auto-focus
Cons:
Focus hunted in low light condition, No "manual" button

I owned a previous Sigma 105 macro; now this one. Good for portraits and macros; Interesting for a kind of "close up" : not really in macro. (70 mm is a limit; 105 mm is better)

Pros: Still a very good result with a TC-20 III onto a Nikkor 70-200 mm VR2 !! SHARP !
Cons:
the couple with a D700 is ... heavy

with D700, we have 140 ~ 400 mm and the result is very good !!
>>> HIGHLY RECOMMENDED <<<

Review Date: Jan 27, 2010 Recommend? | Price paid: Not Indicated

Pros: Sharp enough the tc-20E III , good build
Cons:
expensive

Test nikkor 70-200 VR2 N with the new TC-20E III
with a Nikon D300. the crop with 1.5, we have 210-600 mm
F-5.6 to ISO 200 This is not the sharpness but I think the quality still adequate. Euro 499.00 to 701.00 USD
The teleconverter stops me to get another goal. I think the result is acceptable. Your comments are appreciated. ;-)))

Pros: the *** NEW *** 70-200 f 2,8 VR2 : sharp, sharp, fastest AF, build like a tank, very good bokeh
Cons:
like this kind of pro lens: expensive but the price paid is for quality; heavy with a D700

A long wait for this lens but it is the best in town ... Using the D300, it is a benefit of a x1,5 (frame crop); I'm waiting the new TC x2,0 III (but expensive € 590,00 !). BUT the AF is not so fast without the continuous shot as setting.

Obviously, a "Highly recommended" zoom lens for serious guys or professionals.
