Pros:
bokeh, build quality
Cons:
big, heavy, a bit slow AF
Build quality is good and it feels like a high quality product. It is big and heavy but that is. AF speed is a bit on the slow side but not much slower than 50L. I wouldn’t recommend it for sport photography but for anything other it’s just fine. It really can isolate a subject from the background like no other lens.

Pros:
image quality
Cons:
big, heavy, feels cheap
It’s amazing how cheap this lens feels. Except for the lens mount, it’s completely made out of plastic although I hope at least the lenses are real glass. It’s like something from a $20 toy camera. For the price I would have hoped a more quality feel to it. It is also very big and heavy.
The image quality however is very good and that’s of course the most important part. Take a look at my pictures with it (mostly taken wide open):

Pros:
fast, sharp and smooth bokeh
Cons:
not usable if switched to full frame at some point
I bought this lens right before my trip to The Gambia to use as my main lens. I got great results with it and it has become my favourite lens since then. Here are the pictures from the trip:
