Great Lens, non USM dont bother me its quick lens.
I sold my 17-40L to geta couple primes that are faster, and if not same quality, i cant tell the diference in pictures on my 30D, i bought this lens to take mainly pictures of cars, and this lens will do the trick, great shapness and color for the buck.

I sold my 17-40L to get some wide angle primes, all my other lenses are primes and I can not go back to zooms.
I love the prime quality.
The 15MM does have barrelt distortion on the 30D but easly fixed if needed with Grasshopper. I cant believe how sharp this lens is, Must have lens for a 1.6 crop.Thanx to all these reviews i eneded up with one !

I have a 30D and was using 17-40L F4
I still had time to have it returned or exchanged.
I was reading the reviews on a few ulr's and had to try this out since i'm not going to FF camera any time soon.
I was shocked how good the pistures where even from 10-22.
I have a huge 22" viewsonic CRT and can't see any diference @ 17mm on either. That means on a print the pictures will look the same.
Excellent lens for the 1.6x glad i made the change while i could.
