Image Quality, Light weight (after using 1DS MKII for years), HD video, Custom settings dial

No built in flash, top switch not lockable and easily gets knocked. Always disliked Canons On/Off switch position

Great image quality, as good as 1DS MkII but with larger files.
High ISO excellent, much better than 1DS MkII. Luckily image quality is still a long way off my Phase One P45 (39 megapixels), but this camera is a total bargain in comparison!
I've really enjoyed walking around with this camera compared to 4 years lugging the brick which was my 1DS MkII.
Would like a pop-up flash for fill-in, come on Canon!
Always disliked Canons On/Off switch position, prefer Nikons.
Don't ass about though, just buy it, it's brilliant.

Total Joy, excitement, glorious images, happiness, photography is more fun than ever! Sell your film cameras. Yes, all of them. I've never spent this much money on anything apart from a house! Who cares!

I love shooting at 17mm as I'm in love with big, open skies, so this lens is ideal. The centre of the image is very sharp all through the zoom range, and the slightly slow f4 is no problem - just use a tripod! I wholeheartedly recommend this lens, and it'll be on my camera for many years to come. I suggest f8 for sharpest results.
Has anyone used this lens with good quality Graduated filters or Lee Filters? I'd like to know what you think before I buy some - they're steep.
