I have always wanted a Nikkor 35mm 1.4 in my bag...all the way back to my photojournalism days in the mid 80's:)
I found a great deal on one local, so I took the plunge.
I wasn't really expecting significantly better performance than my 24-70 VR. Wow was I wrong. I was pleasantly surprised when this lens blew my socks off! After one assignment (which I did one hour after buying this glass) I was hooked.
Picked up a 24mm 1.4 as it's side kick and the 24-70 VR lens will be for sale shortly on this site.
