This is a very good lens. I have bought it 7 years ago and bought it again because I need it for wild life photography.
Fantastic rendering and the images are just so sharp. Clarity with good contrast. Bokeh is fantasticly creamy buttery smooth.

Pros:

Autofocus for f1.2!! Sharp and dead on accuracy, well built and good bokeh rendering
Cons:
Shift focus, weight
This lens has been unfairly dismissed by many. I am a owner of almost every single 50mm focal length lens with f1.2 aperture. Canon 50mm f1.2 L is the best one I feel simply because it autofocuses!
It is sharp in the area of fucus. What is more is its ability to quickly autofocus on the point of interest. This is my main portrait lens for many commercial work.
The focus shift tends to happen between aperture f2 to f2.8 with focusing distance of 1 metre under low light. This is not an issue for me as this lens still gets me decent excellent images!

Pros:
Incredible image quality: sharp, good flare control, beautiful bokeh and contrasty wide open
Cons:
Weight rather heavy
Easy paint loss
This zoom was purchased as a gift for myself graduating from university. A lot of memory has derived from this lens in the older time.
I love it simply because it is so reliable in producing the images I like. F2.8 is very usable in deed even for an amateur like me in the early years.
The background bokeh rendering is superb, creamy smooth like butter.

My only concern is its paint loss and weight that really prevents me from using it in wedding or event photography.

Pros:
Sharp from corner to corner. Background bokeh pleasant. Autofocus is lightening fast. Cheap L prime to own.
Cons:
Not metal. Specular highlight performance poor. Low contrast wide open.
135L is my event photography lens. Very versatile with lightening autofocus speed. Dead on Accuracy and reliable optical performance.
It bokeh rendering is superb. Smooth and gentle. Occasional harsh edges in background bokeh. Its foreground bokeh does not have the same performance as background bokeh. The specular highlights are crescent shape which is a little dissapointing.
