Im a an old school beauty and fashion photographer. Starting my career with manual focus lenses , has helped me work with this lens with ease. Sometime i forget how the hell i even managed to shoot fast moving fashion models with non auto gears in the 80’s and 90’s. But now all my digital gears are auto and now i have to use them with this amazing manual focus beast of a sharp lens. After putting it thru three days of work mainly with static models. I have to say. If you can focus this lens you will be amazed to see the skin tone renditions to wow you and the fact that the sharpness reveals the smallest pores in the skin and pops the eye lashes out of the face of the model and the details that go far beyond the eyeballs. Wow wow wow. No other lens i have owned or have known has had this amazing capability to capture all that is so important in beauty photography. And i bet this lens is a champ for food and still life photography as well. And no wonder this lens is more geared towards industrial, aerospace applications. Now i can see how NASA shot those tack sharp Three dimensional photos of the planet earth from the moon. Well it was ZEISS manual lenses on HASSELBLAD cameras. DUH
