Pros: Fast amazing AF, Frame Sequence is mighty, Live preview is amazing for macro and closeups, High ISO exceptional image Quality, and high Quality AW sealed
Cons:

After my experience with the old mighty 1d mark II N, this model is exceptional and a true innovation in photography. i just love it Smile and I'm considering a second body after i pay back my Credit card Smile
i Have faith that the AF issue will be solved with Version 1.1.1 , canon never disappoint it's pro customer. Smile

Canon EF 500mm f/4L IS USM

Review Date: Jan 14, 2007 Recommend? yes | Price paid: $5,500.00 | Rating: 10

Pros: Faaaast AF in a crazy way, amazingly sharp , soild , all weather proof and of suitable weight
Cons:
Non at all, and you wont found

I'm in love with this lens, it's one of the best conon's inventions. The IS is so effective, very fast AF and extremly sharp i prefere it over the EF 600mm, coze i can shot with it handheld, it's of very suitable size and weight regarding to what it can deliver, if you have the money just go for it with hesitations.

Canon EF 600mm f/4L IS USM

Review Date: Jan 6, 2007 Recommend? yes | Price paid: $7,100.00 | Rating: 10

Pros: fast focusing, amazing IS and extremely sharp
Cons:
very heavy, not effecient without a gimbal head and a good tripod

i was dreaming to own such lens with it's amazing preformance and results for wildlife photography, so i did the crazy thing and i over limited my credit card to purchase one, and still i'm paying for the credit card Smile and till the next 2 years, but in my opinion it worth it.

the only problem that made me a little bit depressed is that, this lens requires a wimberly gimbal head and a carbon fiber bogen tripod (= 1500 $) to function in the right way, other wise forget to get the best of it, unless you are a muscle builder.

Review Date: Aug 18, 2006 Recommend? yes | Price paid: Not Indicated | Rating: 10

Pros: amazing handling, amazing weather sealing and durability comparing to the lesser models of Canon, i liked the 45 point of focus in 1d system and super image quality.
Cons:
none at all

I'm a have owned all Canon's digital SLR mount starting from the 350D, 20D, 30D and the 5D. and curruntly the 5D with my new 1d. Now i've sworen that next time when i wanna purchase a new body i would only go for the 1d serious if i got enough money. of course the 5D had a charming image quality and amazing colors closer to canon's god the 1ds mark ii, but it really lacks the good handling, weather sealing , fast and accurate response and focusing system like that of the 1d mark ii N.
the 1d mark ii n is a master piece and worth every penny that you pay for specially for nature photography which is my most field of intrest.

gooooooooooooooooooooooooooo ! for it or wait for the 1d mark III Smile it will break hearts

Review Date: Jun 16, 2006 Recommend? yes | Price paid: $2,900.00 | Rating: 10

Pros: high amazing image quality, amazing colors at iso 50 , perfect for macro photography and landscapes as well as indoors photography. built like a tank, long batteries life, larger LCD
Cons:
dirty sensor and view finder from only one photographic session, require a profissional cleaning kits.

no money no funny , it worth the price in my opinion , get it very close to the expensive 1DS mark II in the image quality.
