This is a fantastic lens. I found it to be a little long for indoor work, but outdoors it performed like a champ.

This is a great lens if you find yourself needing the extra edge in low light conditions. The brokeh is fabulous and alows for very creative DOF. It a great lens that I really should use more.

A little pricey

This is a must have lens if it fits your budget. The focus is fast and locks acuately. Definately one of the sharpest lenes that I have ever had. Works well with extenders for the extra added reach. with a little effort it's definately hand holdable, in my opinion not much less than the 70-200. Check on out if you get a chance and you will fall in love.

This is the first non Canon lens that I have used and first non "L" lens I've used in a really long time with the exception of my Canon 100mm macro which I just sold. I must say that according to my preliminary tests on this lens and compared to all my other "L" glass this lens is the sharpest piece I own. For the price I am glad I decided to give it a try. The working distance is just what I was looking for and the image quality surpassed expectations.
