What can I say about this fantastic piece of glass that hasn't allready been said? I come from a 7D with a 24-105 f/4 IS to a D7000 and this masterpiece of a lens and this glass just smokes the Canon! Sharp wide open at all focal lengths and weather sealed. Sure it's heavy but I find that it actually stabilizes my shots. Simply the best piece of glass I've ever had.
If the other Nikkor zoom lenses (14-24 and 70-200) are as good as this I'm going to be a very happy mand down the road. If you're considering this lens stop right now and get it. You won't regret it!
