This lens is great for having a 70-200 on hand, but you'd be better served to save your money and at lest get the mkii.

This lens works as described and gives a good range of zoom for a kit lens.

Images from this lens aren't stunning, they're functional.

This lens came with a camera body we purchased. It has bailed us out a couple of times when we had multiple photographers at a shoot needing a wide zoom lens. Overall, though, this lens doesn't produce stunning images very easily at all. It's functional, but not inspiring.
