Pros: Sharp wide open, good contrast, close focus
Cons:
DX only

This lens is kind of an odd duck. It is the equivalent of a ff 60 macro in dx format. There are a couple of positive attributes it has going for it - good flat field, excellent sharpness from 2.8 on, small, light, and focusses pretty close, and really very affordable. Although referred to as a micro, I consider it more as a general walk-around lens that lets you lets you focus very close.

Pros: light, Sharp, cheap.
Cons:
slow focusing

I bought this lens to shoot the flies that i tie for fly fishing. the macro shot is great. and f2.8 is ok for indoor shooting with flash or some decent soft light. I got some nice pictures. focusing is slow, but for my purpose it is not that big deal.
