Pros:
Internal focus is lightning quick. Relatively well built for a consumer zoom.
Cons:
Goes soft when zoomed. Rather slow max aperture. Zoom creeps a lot.

A better option than anything else in this price range. AF is stunningly fast. A great sports lens for the casual shooter. You really have to spend 2-3 times as much to find a better option in this focal range.

Pros:
Light Weight, Compact, Good Travel lens for intermidiate photographers.
Cons:
Sharpness Drops off the deep end when you use it from around 210-300mm. I would recommend the product to Beginners through Semi-Advanced Amatures.

Not a horrible lens. Good Over all zoom. Looses Sharpness and becomes very soft around 210-300 and it even drops off from 100. Ive got some wonderful pictures from this lens though. Light weight is a tremendous factor. Rear Focus is Pretty quick. Does tend to slip when you point it to the ground. Not a bad lens overall. I would recommend this lens for the 70-300 zoom range rite behind the Canon IS 75-300. Another Draw back is the 100 Starting point. I guess what ever is your shooting style.
