I've been behind a camera since shooting
my
high school yearbook in 1988, and
photography has been a passion ever
since. I
studied photography in college and have
been
shooting seriously for nearly 40 years. I
spent
years covering high school sports —
football,
soccer, and baseball — and some of my
favorite memories are shooting alongside
my
son before he headed off to college. Life
got
busy over the last decade but the passion
never left, and these days I'm refocusing on
what truly moves me: birding and
landscape
photography. When my amazing wife Tracy
and I travel, the camera is always along for
the ride. I shoot with a Canon R5 and take
care of my gear like it owes me money.
